About Kent Foster

Kent Foster provides full spectrum commercial and stock photography services specializing in agriculture, landscape, wildlife, travel and historical subjects. Behind the eye of a camera for more than 25 years, he devotes substantial time to the stock image market. A few examples of his published work include; magazines (American Home Style, Birds & Bloom, Nickelodeon, Sesame Street), textbooks (McGraw-Hill, Saunders College Publishing, Pearson Learning), calendars (Avalanche, Northword Press, Willow Creek Press), and periodicals. Since returning to his native Iowa, he has worked with the Iowa Department of Tourism and Iowa Travel Guide to provide them with numerous images for their annual publications. Kent’s emphasis is not only to capture the image but also reveal the simplistic beauty in the subject, whether the strength of a mountain range or the innocence of a new born foal.

Photographing in 6x7cm, 35mm, and high-resolution digital mediums, his library of more than 25,000 images is available for multiple use. He also provides many custom prints for corporate and private art collections. In addition, Kent directs small group photographic tours to many destinations tailored to the needs of each client, specializing in Africa and Costa Rica.
